Fifth Week In Month
When there is a fifth week in a month the basic schedule of the other weeks is followed

Elders Meetings are scheduled for the last Sunday of each month, just prior to the monthly BLL meetings. ( BLL meetings are scheduled for the first Monday of the month.)

6:15 PM (Sundays) Lutherans and Friends Bowling League. 
Bowling is scheduled for every Sunday Evening at 6 PM until Summer Break

Choir Practice is 6 PM Wednesday Evening Before Service. (When There Is A Meal Served Before Wednesday Night Service Choir Practice Is Held After The Service.)

Youth Events & Notes

Confirmation Classes 7:00 PM Tuesdays when public school is in session.
.Youth are asking for anyone who is interested to please help them make elephants for their Forget-Me-Not Elephant Ministry. They give the elephants to children in the hospital and they would appreciate your help to keep their supply replenished. 
There is now an Elephant Workshop that meets Tuesdays at 6:00 PM at Christ Lutheran Church Annex, 290 Idema Street. Everyone is welcome to participate. You may even bring your sewing machine, but there will be plenty to do to get these cute little elephants ready to distribute to the children in the hospital and share God's Love. For information check with Terri Holland. (NOTE: Elephant Workshop postponed until further notice)

The Youth are also looking for people interested in scrap booking, who can help them put together an Embers Youth Group scrap book. 
. Youth Adopt-A-Grandparent project - for visits - will accept 6-month contract

The Youth are selling Christ Lutheran Window Decals For $10.00 Each

Please continue to bring donations of canned goods to stock our "Pastor's Pantry"

"FLAMINGOS"
Youth Are Still Flocking!

Surprise A Friend For A Birthday Or Other Special Occasion
(Or Just Because!)

Flocking is a youth fundraiser. You can have someone's yard flocked for any occasion (birthday, anniversary, new baby, graduation, etc.) The cost of Flocking is $15.  Removal fees are also $15 to get the flamingos out of your yard. There will be a phone number on the back of the sign placed in your yard; call that number and the flamingos will be removed.

Forget-me-not Elephants
In memory of Chris Holland
Close to two hundred elephants have been made by volunteers!
The youth greatly appreciates the $200.00 donation to the ministry by LWML, the $800.00 donation by Thrivent and the generous donations of material, sewing notions, and their time constructing the elephants, by many members of the congregation, for this on-going project.
If you can help make elephants it would be greatly appreciated. The Children love to get the elephants, and the book about God's love that is attached to each elephant.
